In this phase, the GAP between the client requirements and solution features are narrowed and a GAP report is provided. The GAP Report link will lead to a GAP report written for a Large Financial Services Company.

On receiving the Purchase Order from the client, the project is initiated formally in the presence of the team members with a SEPG team, that will control the activities of the project. Herein, resources from all the departments are formally informed about the forthcoming development activities with regard to the project and get their acceptance.

For understanding exact client requirements, the Business Process Study is carried out the clients' place. The GAP document will be the basis for this phase and a Software Requirements Specification will be submitted to the client for sign-off.

The Software Requirements Specification document is the output of the information gathered from the BPS. The actual requiremens of the client is framed in the form of a System Requirement Specification document. The SRS will be the basis for developing the system architecture and design

The MOM-Minutes of Meeting holds as a document for the discussions that we had with the client. This can serve as a proof for issues arising in the future regarding the Software. This is actually interleaved among the several business process studies conducted at client place.
